We meet together for collective worship each day. This might be all together in the hall, in our classroom, or a few classes together. We might meet to celebrate our Christian values and share how we have shown these in our day to day learning and life at school, to listen to a bible story, to reflect on what we have learnt or talked about in worship or for our Praise Party… a rousing worship time together as a whole school!
Every member of the school community is welcome to join our worship. If you are a parent or carer we would love to see you! Worship is from 1:15pm to 1:30pm everyday. Please contact the school office if you would like to worship with us.
The worship theme for the Autumn term will be based on the theme of The Bible is God's story and Right and Wrong. We will look at the key parts of the Bible narrative such as Creation, the Flood, the Psalms and Jesus coming to rescue people. In Right and Wrong, we will learn from the lives of key Bible characters such as Daniel and Jonah to see what wisdom we can gain from their examples. We will also be celebrating Christmas through our Nativity on 7th and 8th December at St Barnabas Church at 9:30am.
The Lords Prayer
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours.
Now and for ever.
(New English version - adopted by the Church of England in 1977)
