It is the policy of our school to include every child wherever possible, regardless of their learning difficulty, emotional and behavioural difficulty, sensory or physical needs. We work to ensure that every child progresses towards their full potential, within the inclusive setting of the school.
We assess all pupils regularly, set targets, plan and set appropriate differentiated work to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Budget permitting, this may involve the support from outside agencies such as: Educational Psychologists; Speech and Language Therapists; Occupational Therapists and Mental Health specialists.

The pupil premium – a budget received in accordance with children registered as having free school meals, is used for small focussed group work, which is currently led by the SENDCO (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) or teaching assistants.
Equality Objective 2015/2016: To narrow the attainment gap between pupil premium and non pupil premium children.
Any additional interventions are monitored and communicated with parents.
